This rewards program was created especially for you, the bike courier, who already makes deliveries sustainably using your bicycle, avoiding CO2 emissions. Now you can earn extra income by selling your avoided CO2e to advertising companies on the Ecomilhas app — pretty cool, right?
For just R$9,90/month, your rides are recorded, converted into positive environmental impact, and you even receive a financial reward.
How the Ecomilhas Urban Miles Program Works
Couriers can record their routes during deliveries using non-polluting modes of transport:
- Personal or rented bicycles (except through the TEMBICI system);
- Walking;
- Train or subway;
- Municipal circular bus;
- Download the Ecomilhas app from Google Play:
- Subscribe to the Ecomilhas Green Card at a discount: Use the coupon IFOOD25 to subscribe to the plan for R$9,90/month and sell your rides to Ecomilhas partner companies
- Record your rides!: When you tap “Accumulate ecomiles” in the app, your rides are monitored and converted into points equivalent to Carbon Credits!
- Redeem your balance via Pix or gift cards: With your ecomiles balance, choose which company to exchange the benefit offered in the Ecomilhas app for, whether a gift card or even a Pix redemption.
How does redemption via Pix work?
Companies around the world are looking for low-carbon solutions, and you, dear cycle-courier, are one of them!
To make this happen, we need to ensure your route really did avoid carbon emissions. That's why we ask you to record as many of your trips as possible in the Ecomilhas app — whether you're making deliveries or heading to that avenue you know has more orders, alright?
How to submit routes in the Ecomilhas app:
- Check in via GPS when you start your delivery with non-polluting transport
- Check out when you arrive at your destination
- Ecomilhas's artificial intelligence will validate your route and calculate the avoided CO2

Do I need to change anything in my routine?
Not much! Just record your cycling trips as you already do on deliveries there in the Ecomilhas app
What happens if I don't cycle in a given month?
Nothing — you can stay in the program and pick it back up at any time.
How do I know how much I'll receive?
Track your balance directly in the “Green Card” tab in the Ecomilhas app; there you'll see your total redeemed.
What if I use another means of transport?
Only trips made with personal or rented bicycles (except TEMBICI) are valid for the program. If you use any polluting vehicle to try to obtain the benefit, your route will be rejected. If our system detects simulated routes, the user will be subject to the banning policies under the app's terms of use.
