How is the price calculated?

By the contracted annual decarbonization tier (tCO₂e avoided per year). The monthly fee is fixed within the tier, the bigger the target, the lower the effective cost per ton, down to $9/tCO₂e. There is no per-user or per-employee charge.

What is the MAC curve and where does Ecomiles fit?

The MAC (Marginal Abatement Cost) curve ranks decarbonization projects by cost per ton reduced. Heavy-capex levers cost more and take years; Ecomiles sits at the base of the curve because it turns employee engagement into reduction at source, deployed in weeks with cost decreasing at scale.

Is there a per-employee cost?

No. You can invite the whole company without changing the monthly fee. Pricing follows the outcome (tons avoided), not headcount.

How does the Impact Guarantee work?

If Ecomiles doesn't deliver 80% of the contracted tCO₂e target within 12 months, the client receives a proportional credit at renewal or can terminate the contract without penalty.

What if my employees don't join?

We operate at 70% average adoption across active programmes, supported by an internal comms kit, live support in the first weeks and the Ecomiles Grand Prix (gamification). Conventional ESG engagement programs stay below 15%.

Do the results count for SBTi?

Yes. Ecomiles delivers gross reduction (at source) of Scope 3.6 (business travel) and 3.7 (commuting), recognized by SBTi and the GHG Protocol as a valid reduction, unlike offsets, which don't count toward SBTi targets.

How do the generated carbon credits work?

Audited trips generate CO₂e tokens that can be traded on the carbon market, part of the revenue returns to the contracting company, per contract, from 1,500 tons onward.

Does the program work in other countries?

Yes. The methodology is globally replicable with local emission factors (IPCC + national), app in EN, PT, ES, FR and JA, and rewards in local currency. HRIS integrations (SAP, Workday, ADP) via REST API and SSO are available in the upper tiers.

What if I need to cancel?

After 12 months, cancellation takes 30 days' notice, with no penalty. Before that there is a commitment proportional to the annual discount applied, except in cases covered by the Impact Guarantee, where exit is free of charge.

What about location data privacy (GDPR/LGPD)?

We collect only what is needed to validate trips, with the employee's explicit consent. The company only sees aggregated, anonymized data, never individual location. Full policy at ecomilhas.app/politicas-de-privacidade.
